Jax Taylor Didn’t Want to Leave the Mental Health Center After Being Diagnosed

Jax TaylorA stint at an inpatient treatment center helped her learn more about her mental health – and now she’s talking about the benefits and pitfalls of treatment.

“It was a very scary step for me, but it really needed to happen. It’s something I’ve been holding on to for years,” Taylor, 45, said on Friday. on September 6, a single election of his wife and whom he had not met. Brittany Cartwright‘s “When Reality Hits” podcast. “I knew for years that something was wrong but I didn’t want to know. While there, I learned a lot about myself. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.”

Taylor admitted that she spent her early days struggling with the urge to seek help.

“When I got there, I—I hated it. Then I just let myself [take it all in] and I loved it. I didn’t want to f—king go. Actually, I didn’t. I was very sad when I left. I was crying,” he recalled. I’m like, ‘I don’t want to go.’ I was afraid to leave those front doors because I had a building every day.”

During his 30-day stay, Taylor got used to the process, which he explained in detail at the event.

“I was allowed to have my phone for certain hours. When I wasn’t being treated – which was about seven hours a day – I was allowed outside the facility for an hour a day. So I went to the gym and was accompanied by a nurse. The driver from that center was looking at me the whole time,” he said. But each agency has different rules. So those 30 days were an amazing experience. My days were very organized, and I realized that it was something I really needed in my life.”

Taylor shared how she would wake up and have “four to five eggs” for breakfast before eating one oatmeal with her medication. After that he would go to the gym before returning to his therapy sessions.

“Just because I went to this center for 30 days does not mean that I will come out cured or changed in any way. As much as I wish it could work that way, I can’t. It’s a work in progress,” he explained before realizing how scared he was to leave treatment. I said, ‘God, I know the world is going to hit me with tons of bricks. And I have to go back to filming [The Valley]. I know that all the people are angry with me, and they will come to me.’”

Taylor was “scared” to face the world but has been “dealing” with putting in the work.

“It’s scary to work on your own. It’s scary to tell people you have problems,” he continued. “Now I have a better understanding of my mental health problems. I took strong medicine which really helped me a lot. In time, I will talk more about it openly, but for now I need to deal with this process. ”

We every week confirmed in July that Taylor entered a 30-day treatment program to address his ongoing mental health issues. He left the hospice a month later, and his rep said in a statement, “Jax has spent the last 30 days in rehab and will be going home later this week. It’s been a very emotional month for him.” and he is looking forward to spending time with his son.”

Taylor has since confirmed that she has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Weeks after she returned home, Taylor’s personal life hit the headlines when Cartwright, 35, filed for divorce after five years of marriage.

“I know Brittany talked about our current situation on last week’s podcast. It’s been a very difficult week. Anyone who has been through a divorce will understand how difficult this is,” Taylor said on Friday’s podcast. “Brittany filed for divorce. I understand why he did that, and I believe this is the right decision for our family.”

Despite the fact that their relationship will end, Taylor had hope for the future.

“I will always love Brittany and take care of her. She is a beautiful mother to my son,” she said of their 3-year-old son, Cruz. “All I want is for us to be compassionate and hopefully be true friends. One day. I know I’m an amazing father, and I know I’m going to be a great man.”
